Urrrggghhh. She�s not only being rude now, she�s also being manipulative. She keeps asking us why we plan to move east when we�ve saved enough money, saying that it�s not cheaper to live there than here, but she�s already been told that it�s not about money, it�s about me being with my family. I wonder if she�s giving C the same shit or if he�s just the Golden Favorite. I notice that she is far nicer to him and E than she is to Luke and I. She�s just as rude to Luke as she is to me and I understand that having us live here isn�t the greatest thing on earth, but it isn�t for us, either. I talked to Luke about it last night and he said to just ignore her, that it�s worked for him for years.I�m pretty sure that the mouse has taken its leave of our bedroom now that there�s a cat in here and frequent human activity. I still want to get one of those Havahart traps so that Ghostcat doesn�t break a paw in it or eat poisoned mouse carcass. More troubling than the mouse, though, was the very accessible drawers full of G�s porn. I took the most insidious of it last night and stowed it away so that I don�t have to worry about it. Luke said that he didn�t have any interest in looking at it, but I still didn�t feel comfortable with it being in here, so I put it out of mind and out of room.
The cat posed fewer problems last night than even the night before. He only woke us up a couple of times and it was easy enough to get back to sleep. When I woke up this morning, he was curled up on my pillow above my head.
Thankfully, the bleeding has stopped (it was the meds, damn them) and I can freely take my pills again. I really didn�t want a period this soon, so I feel better now. Unfortunately, another side effect of the meds is peeling skin, so just imagine the most delicate bit of your body shedding its skin and itching like a mad thing. Uncomfortable? Yes. More pleasant than bleeding for a week? Certainly. I�m going to give sex a whirl tonight since it�s been far too long and I am no longer in pain.
An adorable thing happened yesterday while I was walking Nigel. Kitty CAM came intot he backyard with us and rubbed furiously against my legs before launching himself full throttle into Nigel. It�s the first time I�ve seen him be the aggressor with the dog, but I guess since the outside is his turf, he feels comfortable enough to go for it. That�s more funny than, cute, though. The cute part is that CAM walks with us. He�ll stay one house behind and when we get to the next one, I can hear him hurtling to catch up. He stayed with us until we had to cross a street, at which point he stopped in someone�s driveway and stayed there until we were out of sight. When we completed our circle, he was nowhere to be found.
Luke told me that he was browsing for a birthday gift for me, but wouldn�t tell me what category of thing it fell under. I�ll just have to wait.
