I must say that I had a mighty fine weekend. I had my night of Andy respite on Saturday and I spent it futzing around the house. Yeah, I was alone and missing Luke, but at least I wasnt sitting there listening to Andy complain about how no one will ever love him because hes too weird and antisocial.

We went relatively early to M&Gs on Sunday, arriving just after noon. We did our laundry and were out of there by 4, which is no small feat considering that they tried to rope us into having dinner with them. I think theyre feeling kind of lonely without C there, but at the same time, theyre already cleaning up their now childfree home. They cleared out Cs room while we were there, as theyve had designs of making it their own bedroom for quite some time now. They found both a bag and a box labeled burn me and were very disturbed. Whatever evidence was in there had already been disposed of, but it was clearly something C didnt want M&G finding. They also found his Giant Box o Porn, but they already knew where it was and that he had it. Theyve always been pretty lax about that there. I mean G sets porn as the communal computer desktop on a regular basis, they have a picture on display in the living room of him with Dita von Teese, and he has a collection of Voluptuous magazines stashed away, but everyone knows theyre there. I dont really get that bit, though. Voluptuous is chock full of bigger girls and M is absolutely tiny, a B cup.

M gave Luke Cs school email address and told him to write his little brother, even though C never even called to say bye and has never gone out of his way to communicate with Luke. Luke wrote him yesterday and apparently C is pretty miserable there. He said that the only good thing is that hes out of the house, which I really dont understand. M is not Nurse Ratchet at all; he was always allowed to come and go as he pleased with little trouble, he could do what he wanted without repercussion, and he wasnt obligated to do much in the way of household chores. What is there to revel about in being out of the house when theres no difference save that you have to share a tiny room with a complete stranger chosen for you by computer?

We came home Sunday to find a message from Andy, saying that he had a frozen pizza and a bag of marshmallows, did we want to come over? Luke called back and said that we had to do some grocery shopping, but he could come along if he wanted to, so he trekked the 10 minutes here and accompanied us to Woodmans. It was strange shopping with a spectator because it seemed as though he commented on almost everything, right down to how much cereal we were buying and asking us how long our groceries would last us. After we got back from that outing and had our food put away, Andy glanced at his watch and decided that 8 was too late to do anything more and that wed have to do pizza Monday night. Luke made dinner and we just enjoyed each others company for the remainder of the evening.

Yesterday we woke really late, I before him, and hung around the house for most of the day. We ended up getting naughty on the living room floor while Dr. Phil was on. We hadnt been watching it, so dont get the wrong idea; it was simply on as background noise as we talked and cuddled and played. I didnt want to go to the trouble of shutting it off once things got started because that would have taken away from the fun of it. Luke kept saying that he wanted to go into the bedroom, but whats the point in spontaneous nookie when you have to get up from the foreplay and move into the bedroom? Besides, I was having way too much fun to bother with getting up. He was lavishing some serious attention on me and I didnt want it to stop, so the floor was where it took place and I was that much happier for it.

We did Andys for pizza, but he never brought out the marshmallows. We watched Say Anything, me for the first time, and I completely fell in love with it and am now hell-bent on having it on DVD. Andy kicked us out when the movie was over at 9, saying he was tired, so we stopped at B&N on the way home to pick up a DVD that Lukes coworker burned for us (About A Boy), and then settled in for the night.

We had some more sex after our shower and watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in bed before attempting to go to sleep. If only sleep had come, it would have been a perfect night. It was way too warm and I tossed and turned until 4. I finally got fed up and turned on the a/c. Sleep came not long afterward, but the cat woke me about an hour later and I had to toss him out. So, after 6 hours of sleep, Im in rough shape. Im expecting a call from Luke at some point because we need to discuss dinner and Ive cleaned the kitchen and dishes already. I really dont want to fold laundry, but Ill probably give in to the guilt and do it before he gets home.

I really enjoyed the weekend, though. I say it over and over again, but I wish that it would always be like that. Just spending time together, whether its sitting and talking or watching one another play a game on the computer, it gives us valuable time for reconnection.
