We signed our lease this morning. We have a couiple of extra days to scrounge up the cash for the security deposit, but he wouldn't lower it any. We have already moved a bunch of stuff, mostly of the kitchen variety and plan on doing more between now and Monday. We can't yet sleep there due to their working on the bathtub. If I can't shower, I don't necessarily want to sleep there.We did find a couple of things that need sussing out, though. THere are no screens in the windows and there's an unfinished edge near the closet in the 2nd bedroom/office. There's also a fairly good-sized hole in the wall, but I suppose that all but the closet are things that we can fix easily enough.
I found some really cute and cheap lights at Target and we've picked out some nice paint colors, plus Andy said that we can borrow his huge black leather couch for the forseeable future. I found futon frames at ShopKo for about $70, but I don't know if Ikea would just be cheaper.
We're seeing if Luke's parents still have the A/C unit that they no longer use, plus having to get a coffee table and one of those in/out fans for the living room.
