So, I figure that the heat is off and I can unlock this thing with impunity, so here I happen to be, sitting at work in the hour and 15 minutes I have until I have to actually begin working.

Things here have been uneventful, to say the least. We spend Friday evenings with Luke's coworker/our new best friend Orange, we hang with Andy every week or two, and we both work. I'm getting a raise as of tomorrow and I'm slowly making my way towards my savings goal to move home.

I'm 24 now and nothing's changed. I'm not greying or wrinkling or showing any signs of being any older. Go figure. The only difference I'm finding is the way I seem to be almost completely unable to understand the lives and actions of people under 22. It's weird watching people fuck up their lives and go through all the petty drama I so closely relate to high school.

Christmas should be interesting. I'm hoping to be able to get up to Luke's grandparents' house before anyone else, so as to avoid having to sleep on either the couch or in the room that smells like urine. This means that, ultimately, Luke and I would get the good room, his parents would get the Pee room, and Cubby and Ellie would have to sleep on different pieces of furniture in the living room. Yes, I still hate them like cancer.

Luke and I are waiting until after Xmas to get gifts for one another. Part of it is that we don't have the available cash this week and the other part is the whole avoiding shopping with all the other idiots in this city thing.

See, I'm still boring!
